I’m gonna sound like a dick, but this band have been far too overlooked in the UK scene for years since I can remember, regardless of whether or not they’re a crucial or cool band they’re a hard working band with a lot of hard work put in from each and every single one of them. They aren’t writing music to fall into any sort of clique or group of bands. They’re writing solid tracks that aren’t your simple 3 chord chug, the least you could do would be to check them out on the last few days of tour with them, Broken Teeth and Backtrack.
I’ll be open and say I owe a lot to this band for being a stepping stone and giving me an introduction to what I now consider my life and that is hardcore. All my friends that really matter are through this music and the shows. My girlfriend I met through going to the same shows and being into the same interesting bands.
It’s a shame Stoke couldn’t give them something to call home but at least they were welcomed by the MHC and Manchester in general. All I can say is this band deserve to have a phenomenal year and deserve a better reception at shows.
Stop sitting on the fence. This band are fucking sick and have been making the effort, maybe times time you did too.
